Thanks to our donors, we were able to donate a new basketball goal to Dorothy Day House to be used at their second home “Loretta’s House.”

Kirby High School
Thanks to our donors we were able to provide Coach Hutton at Kirby High School in Memphis with some items for their soccer program. New soccer balls and a few girls practice jerseys, shorts and soccer socks.
Arrows Nest Memphis
Yesterday we had the privilege of meeting MK Hill at Arrows Nest Memphis “A Refuge for children in crisis”. Thanks MK for everything you do for these precious children. Play Where You Stay
Today we went to Treadwell Park in Memphis to donate items to “Play Where You Stay” a great organization bringing soccer to Memphis Neighborhoods. Thanks to our donors we were able to donate 2 portable soccer goals, 15 soccer balls, 25 mini cones and a ball bag. Thank you Ellen Roberds from Play Where You Stay for being our contact person. Kirby High School
Today we made another donation to Kirby High School in Memphis, another portable chess set for the chess team and three pedestal fans for the special education classrooms. Thank you Gail Easter for being our contact person at Kirby High!
Memphis Warriors Baseball Team
Today we met a great group of kids, parents, and coaches at Bickford Community Center in Memphis,Tn. Thanks to Oasis of Hope for introducing us to the Memphis Warriors Baseball Team. We also want to thank our generous donors who made it possible to donate various quantities of new and gently used baseball cleats, gloves, bats, batting helmets, bat bags, batting gloves, catchers equipment, baseballs, baseball pants, and a hitting stick trainer.
Tennessee Baptist Children's Home
Made a donation today to Baptist Children’s Home-Double “B” Boys Ranch in Millington, Tn. It was a pleasure to meet with Jeff Epps, VP residential care. Thanks to our donors we were able to provide them with 2 bikes, a portable tetherball system, sports training net, several footballs, basketballs, soccer balls, frisbees, and a couple of hacky sacks. Collierville students
Today I had the privilege of speaking to a group of Collierville students along with Bea Mitchell and Angela Quadrani Brown. We spoke about the Opioid Epidemic and substance use disorder. I was able to share Kevin’s story, hopefully it will have an impact on their lives and help prevent more deaths.

I had the privilege of sharing Kevin’s story last evening at this event at Collierville High School. So happy to be a part of raising awareness and education of the Opioid Epidemic that is sweeping across our nation as well as my community. It’s never easy to share about my son’s death but if it can help prevent even just one death then it is definitely worth it! (Terri)

CRRD Service Project
I want to thank everyone who has donated to Remembering Kevin’s Light, I am overwhelmed by your generosity. As of today we have received 8 chess sets for the newly formed chess team at a local high school in Memphis. We have received many items from our Amazon wish list from a local group (CRRD) in Collierville that has designated our nonprofit as their June “service project”. (I’ll post pictures at the end of June.) We continue to receive donations of “gently “ used sports/recreational items and below are pictures of the latest “gently”used donations.
